EmporA 2 - E-Mobile Power Austria 2

The project emporA 2 extends the development activities of the existing project E-Mobile Power Austria (emporA). The goal is to develop an overall system for electrical mobility, therefore the capacity of the project is developed around additional dimensions (range extension, integration with public traffic) as well as further developments of existing dimensions (net integration, load infrastructure).

The emphasis of the new project is the user: Obstacles for the use of electrical mobility are to be identified and solutions are being worked out in the individual work packages:

  • ”Range anxiety“ is reduced by vehicle and infrastructure technology solutions as well as through applications.
  • The service level regarding availability and current supply of load infrastructure is improved.
  • The user is given aids for using EVs in intermodal situations: integrated routing and ticketing solutions are planned using existing platforms and co-operations with other projects.
