Monitoring and forecasting feed-in management

The rapid expansion of renewable energy production in Germany has increased grid bottlenecks and, in accordance with feed-in management, the frequency of renewable energy production shutdowns. UBIMET has developed a unique patented* tool for both monitoring current feed-in management (“EinsMan Monitor”) and also to forecast anticipated feed-in management requirements (“EinsMan Forecast”).

EinsMan Monitor

The EinsMan Monitor* is the perfect tool to gain a comprehensive overview of the current feed-in management requirements for Germany. Detailed data is displayed for distribution networks, regions and for the whole of Germany. UBIMET combines high quality, real-time data from plant-specific distribution network operators with precise analysis of renewable energy (wind, solar and biomass) production. This far-reaching analysis is then made available every 15 minutes via the Weather Cockpit®. The Weather Cockpit® is a high-end online weather tool developed by UBIMET and provides an illustrative representation of historic and current and EinsMan analysis.

EinsMan Forecast

UBIMET takes EinsMan to the next level with the EinsMan Forecast*. By providing forecasts for expected feed-in management requirements for the next hours/days renewable energy bottlenecks can be identified and eliminated. Plant-specific renewable energy forecasts, community load forecasts as well as grid topology form the basis of the EinsMan Forecast. The EinsMan Forecast also takes the anticipated network operators response to network-load into consideration. This detailed information is also provided via the Weather Cockpit®.
