With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubimet.com\/en\/technology\/weather-models\/\">extremely precise weather forecasts<\/a> and the Rail Weather Cockpit, the Austrian company won an international bid by the Deutsche Bahn. Starting with the 2016\/17 season, the implementation of winter services at more than 5,400 railway stations throughout the Federal Republic of Germany will be planned with the Rail Weather Cockpit. This ensures that access roads, footpaths at the railway stations and the train tracks can be kept free of snow and ice. The Deutsche Bahn has been a UBIMET customer since 2007.
